PART-2
DETECTIVE ISHA AND ADAMYA
Written by: Anusha Chauhan
SethJi was a big jeweller of their town. He was known for his kindness. He has a hobby of collecting antiques from all over the world but in the budget. He was a true Marwari. He doesn't just throw money.
"Yesterday night he went to sleep after appreciating his small museum as usual. Today, when he got up in the morning, he found out that someone has broken into his museum. He called the police and then he called me and handed over this case. Now hurry up! We have to go to his house." Adamya said it all in one breath.
Next moment, both of them were visiting SethJi's museum at his house. It was one of the rooms of his house which he converted into a little museum because of his passion and hobby. It had no window. All of the artefacts were kept in different boxes made of glass according to their respective sizes. All of them were locked with a key. SethJi has mentioned their names and unique properties on the glass box, with black paint.
They were taking pictures of the room. Isha's eyes and senses were at work. She was noticing every single detail.
"All of the artefacts are at their place! Only one is missing!" Isha was a little surprised. "Why would thief only steal one artefact when he had a chance?" she was talking to herself.
"There are a total of 14 artefacts. But only one is gone. What was so special in that?" murmured Isha as she finished her second round of the room.
"It was an ancient Dagger, I managed to get after so long. It was my expensive most collection to date. I haven't even paid it's full price yet. Please find out my artefact. I am panicking and I fear I might have a heart attack." SethJi was very sad.
"He has not eaten anything since morning. Please find the culprit and his Dagger fast." SethaniJi said while comforting SethJi. She was equally worried, not because of the Dagger but SethJi.
"Don't worry. We will do our best," says Isha.
Adamya is interrogating house helpers and family members.
SethJi's wife, their two sons, one daughter-in-law (wife of his elder son), son-in-law (husband of his daughter), gardener and four house helpers, all are standing in the big lawn outside the museum.
SethJi has a beautiful house with a garden. All the rooms are pretty big and the house is filled with valuable furniture, paintings, chandeliers and expensive interior inside-out. Garden also is very well-maintained covering a large area. Fountain, outdoor furniture, various flowers, plants, trees and chirping birds. SethJi has provided every possible luxury to his family. Isha got lost for a few minutes admiring the beauty and calmness of the place. So, she took a second round of the garden.
As she came back to the lawn, she noticed something.
Every single person standing there was kind of sad because of SethJi. They know what these artefacts mean to him. But not his daughter-in-law, Smita and his son-in-law, Kumar. Smita was carefree and Kumar was tensed.
